A sharply doubly terminated crystal of extra dark amethyst in pristine condition.A sharply doubly terminated crystal of extra dark (deepest purple colour) amethyst is partially cloaked by a sparkly layer of calcite crystals, in pristine condition. From Brandberg, Naimibia. There are many crystallized cavities internally in this crystal, including one some small (to 1 mm), easily visible bubbles (two phase inclusion).
