This is an excellent small cabinet example of the unusual spheric formations of siderite from Dalnegorsk, Russia.This is an excellent small cabinet example of the unusual spheric formations of siderite from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dalnegorsk, Russia. It is one of the best I have ever seen for its aesthetic presentation of a several intergrown crystals of pyrite and calcite. Under magnification you can see that the surface of the spheres has a microcrystalline structure and that there are small rhombs of white calcite inside, also.
