Ukázka jedince trilobita Prionocheilus vokovicensis z lokality Šárka.

This interrestin calymenid trilobite is especially abundant in the vinicity of Rokycany. Isolated cephala and pygidia are abundant and even complete specimens are not rare. But usually they are damaged. Related species are abundant in almost all formation of Barrandian upper ordovician, this one is the eldest. This fossil trilobite, Prionocheilus vokovicensis is from the Šárka, Šárka formation. This one measures 25 mm and the matrix is 50 x 42 mm. Great price for a rare example of a little known Czech species!
